These accolades are not simply milestones but reminders of the trust placed in us by our guests—a trust we strive to honour with every stay.
Celebrating Culinary Traditions
Food has always been at the heart of Ambong-Ambong, and in 2024, we were thrilled to host the launch of the ‘Champur’ cookbook. Created in collaboration with Chef Jasvinder Kaur, the event celebrated the flavours of Malaysia at our Pegaga Vegan Café, where guests explored plant-based interpretations of beloved local dishes.
Buluh & Tebing: A New Chapter in Sustainability
This May, we proudly opened Buluh & Tebing, our very own sustainable farm, designed to bring guests closer to Langkawi’s natural bounty. The farm now supplies fresh ingredients for Ambong-Ambong’s restaurants, enriching every meal with locally sourced produce. Nearly 50 families and couples have already joined our farm excursion, discovering farming techniques and participating in Malaysian cooking classes. These intimate experiences allow guests to forge a deeper connection with the land, the people, and the traditions that make Langkawi special.
Elevating the Experience
We’ve also worked quietly behind the scenes to enhance the comfort and elegance of our spaces. Our Rebak and Tepor Studios at Ambong Rainforest Retreat have been thoughtfully redesigned, while the Rimba Sky rooftop now offers an even more inviting space for guests to enjoy the island’s stunning sunsets.
In a special collaboration with Mercedes Langkawi, Ambong Pool Villas guests were offered exclusive access to premium Mercedes vehicles, elevating their Langkawi journeys with added luxury and convenience.
Celebrating Together
This festive season, the newly renovated Rimba Sky became the setting for memorable celebrations. Our Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve buffet dinners brought guests together for evenings filled with exquisite food, laughter, and breathtaking views. To end the year, we hosted a Year-End Cocktail Soirée, a warm and informal gathering for our in-house guests to share stories and moments of joy.
