Rimba
This open plan all day dining restaurant is located at our Ambong Pool Villas resort. On arrival guests will immediately be mesmerised by the panoramic view of Pulau Tepor in the Andaman Sea and the vast surrounding canopy of verdant tropical trees.
Rimba serves the dishes conceived from recipes passed down through generations and elevated for the modern day diner using the freshest local ingredients where possible. Dishes have Malay, Nyonya and Thai influences and our signature best seller dishes include Rimba Nasi Campur Istimewa, Udang Masak Lemak Pineapple, Squid Ink Sambal Spaghetti and Whole Grilled Fish with Air Assam Sauce. A selection of Western classics and vegetarian dishes are also available.

Rimba Sky
Located above Rimba restaurant, this rooftop bar offers uninterrupted views of the stunning sunsets which Langkawi is known for. Rimba Sky is the spot to enjoy specially crafted cocktails, refreshing mocktails and champagne sundowners. A Chef’s Special evolving menu will soon be available for diners to enjoy signature dishes.

Pegaga
Pegaga is a wellness vegan café in Langkawi, serving healthy, natural, vibrant, nutritious & locally sourced plant-based soul food. Located at Ambong-Ambong Rainforest Retreat, Pegaga compliments Ambong-Ambong’s holistic wellness philosophy, which also includes Amaala, a spa & wellness facility.
At the heart of Pegaga is good food, we serve a fresh menu that comprises a selection of cafe classics such as our Good Earth Burger and local favourites such as Nasi Goreng Pegaga. Feed your body and mind with healthy dishes made with some of the freshest ingredients straight from the farm.
